The one-piece polyester shell is slightly curved, with a thickness of 4 mm at the edges to 8 mm in the centre. This gives the chair a slender, clean look and still provides sufficient strength and rigidity. Stainless steel inserts are invisibly integrated, so the seat can be mounted directly on the steel frame.
